Rochester Mall of Africa – 4 Defective Deliveries, No Refund My mother, Miriam Mapha Nhlangulela, bought a couch from Rochester Mall of Africa and paid in full. She received 4 defective deliveries: first three had peeling leather; the fourth was saggy, creased, and looked old. She signed the delivery note as unhappy and requested a refund under the Consumer Protection Act. The sales consultant asked for all proof (slips, bank statement, ID), which she provided, but now refuses the refund, says she must keep the couch, and ignores calls. We have photo proof and will escalate to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud if not resolved. After 4 failed deliveries, we demand a full refund. This service is unacceptable.
