Rochester Furniture, The worst furniture company in SA.

I bought the Lastrada lounge set from Rochester Roodepoort. I went to the store on the 30/09/18 and filled out the credit application form , gave in all the paperwork that was required. During all this time Francina Mabasa the sales person was very helpful and called me and emailed me for any outstanding info and further forms which I had to fill in. Then I was told to pay the deposit and send the proof of payment. That's when things started to go wrong. I used the account details which she gave me and emailed the proof of payment. She said she was going to let me know once the money was received so they could arrange delivery . She did not do that. The deposit was paid on the 03/10/18 and ever since then Rochester cannot trace the money, they can't create an account for me in order to generate a delivery order for the lounge set. Apparently they went onto a new credit system and the manager of the store , Gerhard did not even know about this. I last heard from francina on Friday promising me to call back by 4:30 and she did not. In fact even the manager himself promised to call and he did not. Their store is opened on a weekend and this past weekend I still did not hear anything from anyone at Rochester, I think they have run out of excuses.

I feel like cancelling this deal and asking for my deposit back. The service is PATHETHIC .
