Rochester

<p>We have been supporting Rochester Factory Outlet for some time now and have bought personally, for our holiday home, our business as well as refferred to friends.</p> <p> </p> <p>Not too long ago we noticed that our "REAL FULL LEATHER" loung suite was not as advertised and was in fact not real leather at the top and back as it is "Pealing"</p> <p> </p> <p>Last weekend, we visited the branch to inform the manager of the above and requested that this be rectified. I was absolutely floored and bitterly dissappointed at his response. I was informed that there was a reason that the last manager was no longer there and this was one of the reasons. He emphaticaly stated that there was no way that Rochester would honour the repair and that he could arrange a repair but we would be liable for the costs.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have recently moved into a new home and had picked out a new lounge suite for our pyjama lounge which I immediatelky cancelled and left the shop. I cannot believe that this sort of interaction with the public is condoned by Rochester management and I likewise am bitterly disappointed that a latent defect such as we have discovered will not be honoured as at the time the manager at the outlet represented Rochestser and had the mandate to do so.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will ensure that we advise all whom I come into contact with of the shocking experience and attitude to the rectification of defects </p>
