********** by Rochester

Towards the end of last around November a lay byed a combo deal from Rochester which included a queen base set, 2 pedestals, a headboard and 2 double couches. Due to the nature of my job and my lifestyle I do not spend a lot of time at my townhouse. About a month ago (september) my grandmother came to visit me. While she was there she noticed that there some strings hanging from the bottom of one of the couches. When i lifted the couch I realized it was ripped. I looked like a factory fault. I took a few pictures and went to Rochester to show the problem. 2 weeks later i get a call saying that they would not fix my couch because i was negligent. They did not even send a person to come and investigate so how do they come to the conclusion without properly investigating . I have not moved residences nor have I swoped the couches. So how I could have possibly ripped the couch??

Thank you for bringing your complaint to our attention.

Unfortunately due to the product being in your possession for so long, there is no way to determine how the damage occurred. We will gladly arrange for repair of the couch but there will be a quote involved as the damage is not due to factory fault.

Kind regards

Rochester management
