Purchase Order not placed

<p>After about 2 months of searching to purchase a lounge set, my family finally decided on the MOMBASA (3M+2P+1K) Cat 4 L, IMPALA Cosmic lounge set with Loyd Sibanda at the Woodmead Branch in JHB. We purchased this on the 26/03/2017 . One week later, I received a call from Loyd to say that if I want the same colour I had chosen then I must pay more the lounge set. When I went in to check the other colours, I still decided to accept the colour and pay the extra R10 000.00 on cost. A discount of R3000.00 was given to me which I accepted. I went back a few times after this just to check where my lounge set was. Loyd always said that he will call me back with feedback which he never did. He said my cell number was incorrect. LIES, because my cell number is what Rochester used to find me on the system. Yesterday my Fiancé goes in to check on our order with the manager Ian Otes. Ian gives my Fiancé a final invoice for me to make payment. I go into the branch today to query the invoice as the difference is more than R10 000.00 and make payment. Loyd is on leave today so Ian assists us. He calls to first check where my order is before I make payment. Regretfully, after Ian’s conversations, I get told that my order was never placed. Ian says that if I still want the lounge set, I must wait another 6-8 weeks. My heart just sank. I asked for my R12000.00 deposit back.</p> <p>I have redone my lounge wallpaper to match the colour of this lounge set. I have my mum and son that I need to go home and say that after 2 months of waiting there is still no lounge set. I am shattered and upset. How can a sales person not place this order on a R50 000.00 lounge set?</p> <p>I sincerely hope no other clients are also treated in this manner. I am so dissatisfied with the service received at the Woodmead branch. I will now have to start this whole process of looking for a new lounge set with my family.
