Poor service : out of stock item sold to me

Hi , I purchased a couch, a TV stand and a coffee table online on Wednesday with Marvin. He told me that the order was sent to warehouse and they would contact me for delivery and it would be delivered on Thursday or Friday. However i waited the whole of wednesday for a call from the warehouse to schedule the delivery with me but no one called. I sent an email to Marvin after calling him numerous times and he did not respond neither to my emails nor my calls. On thursday, i did not get a call from the warehouse still. I tried to call Marvin again and sent him emails and still no luck. Only on Friday , today that i did speak to someone on the chat on your website, this guy went all the way to find out what was my order number and whereabout was my order just to find out that the couch i had bought was out of stock at the warehouse. My concern is this : Why did Marvin not tell me that the couch was out of stock and it might require me to wait until new stock arrives ? it was his responsibility. as a sales person how could he sell to me an item that is out of stock ? I tried calling Marvin numerous times and sent numerous emails , no response . I had to call one of his colleagues listed on the web shop branch on the website to get him to transfer my call through to Marvin. Marvin said he would call me back after 15 minutes which turned out to be over 1 hour and when he calls me he tells me that the couch i bought is out of stock and the warehouse will only get stock on the 28th of December and he was forcing me to chose another couch. I told him i was not interested in another couch and as i was still talking to him to find out why he sold me an out of stock item , he put my call aside and he was talking to people on the background until i had to hang up and he never called me back. That is really really bad attitude toward anyone. In my numerous failed attempts to get hold of Marvin on the office's phone , i ended up googling him hoping to get his number and turns out there is another customer review on him on Hello Peter. an unhappy customer did litterally said Marvin Hlagala's name . My question is this : does Marvin have a manager or anyone that can assist me with this query as the boss himself Marvin is not getting back to me? I just need to find out why was i sold an out of stock item and i have to wait over 1 week to get it when i was promised 48 hours by both Marvin and what the website promotes ? it seems that no one cares about all the reviews of bad services on hello peter .
