Poor Service
I bought a day bed couch from Rochester on the 19th of April 2015 . After having to lodge a formal complaint with the head office, I got a loan unit from Rochester and the couch was finally delivered after about 3 months from date of purchase. After a few weeks post delivery, I noticed that the couch had a ***** /bolt like object which I believe was suppose to be removed or covered before covering the couch with the fabric. I reported this last year (2015) and after having to lodge a complaint again, I finally got a call from the new manager at Woodmead to arrange for a repair. Fiona was clearly not going to assist me had it not have been for the new manager. To cut the story short, Rochester took the couch from my place, left no loan unit and I now have to use my study chair and a broken camp chair to sit and watch TV. My little one has to either lie on the blankets which we placed on the floor or stay in the room as we can no longer put him on the daybed we bought specifically to accommodate him. Very very disappointing service that I have received from Rochester. One would swear I won the couch from entering a competition. South African consumers are being taken for granted.
