Pathetic service on substandard manufacture

My mother bought a very expensive lounge suite for a store in Pretoria and had it delivered to the address in Polokwane. Upon delivery it was observed the corner unit top cushions were both loose and seems to have torn out of the pressed wood support, as well as it had torn the fabric. The daybed was also poorly manufactured

She contacted the the store and reports this, with video evidence. The 2 portions were collected for repair. Weeks later, she received a phone call from the supplier, informing her there would be a cost of R4 500 for the repair of a poorly manufactured and overpriced set

The manager of the store was rude and abrupt and tile her to contact the complaints department of she is not happy. Both portions have been returned in worse condition than it was removed

If this is the type of after sales service that can be expected from Rochester, I would not recommend them ever
