Pathetic Service from the store manager

I called the store manager at Rochester East Rand Boksburg on Saturday the 30.06.2018 and I spoke to the guy by the name of Collen who said he was the store manager on duty. I told him I have got a problem with the lounge suite I bought from them as i'm struggling to assemble the 3 seater, he promised to get back to me on Tuesday, I waited to hear from him until I called the store on Thursday only to be told that he was off duty and when I asked to speak to his assistant i was told there's no assistant manager in the store so I told the guy since the store is running itself I will call head office to raise my concerns then I cut the line. Just after cutting the line I got a call back from the store , which to my surprise now there was a store assistant manager by the name of Terry who was wiling to help me because I told whoever was on the line that i'll take the matter with their head office. He promised to help me but on Friday he told me he has escalated the matter to Head office who will assist me. What a terrible encounter I have come across, with such poor management style. Why would a store manager promise to get back to the customer just to shut me off on the phone and not get back to me. I have given the manager more than enough time for him to make plans to help me but he never bothered to get back to me which is very pathetic. I only needed somebody who could just come and assemble the seater for me and nothing else, does that need two weeks to be sorted out???This has just made me realize how you are just after money and not offer service to your customers and for the record I had great service with the manager who was at that branch when i bought my lounge suite but now i don't think i'll set my foot there. Can you please get somebody employed to do his job to get to the bottom of this.
