Horrible After Sale Service!!
I am truly not happy with the after sales service I am receiving from Rochester. I bought a couch last year from them which was on display and when I bought it I was told it had 1 leg that was faulty which I didn't have a problem with because it could be fixed. Fast forward to this year during Lockdown, I was moving the furniture around when I noticed that something was wrong with the couch, I then realised that it was not only the 1 leg that I was told about but 2 legs that actually looked like they have been trying to fix them but couldn't hence the couch was sold at a cheaper price(R11,999.00 from R18,999.00). I went to Rochester once the shops were open to report this matter and it was escalated. Now the couch has been collected and its been sitting at the warehouse for 2 months now and its not fixed. I have been calling to check on the progress and im told that there is quotation of R1000plus that needs to be paid before it can be fixed. Firstly no one contacted me and told me about this and secondly, the damage on the couch was there from the beginning I just didn't know about it, so why must I pay for it ? The consultants (Teddy(31 Aug 2020) & Palesa (02/09/2020) ref ***) that I spoke to kept telling me the call has been escalated and they will give me feedback in 24 hours and till today I haven't received anything from anyone at Rochester. Your after sale service is really bad and i'm really not happy. If fixing the couch is going to be a problem, can you rather just come and collect whats left of the couch because really, I have been sitting with half a couch for 2 months now, id rather just not have one. I need this sorted before the end of this week because I'm tired honestly. I also feel like I was mislead to buy this couch because maybe they wanted to get rid of it and now that it is out of your hands, I must seek to finish!!
