Getting billed for a settled account

<p> I have been paying my account with Rochester timeously every month no problems then I decided to pay off the total balance which was a massive R22 000 at the end of October to bring my account to zero. Today I received the account statement and it has a new balance of R900 which indicates interest for November. My question is how do I pay interest for zero balance. To make this worse is the fact that I struggled so much to actually pay this off because when I went to the branch in Centurion I was told they dont have a finance office therefore I have to pay via EFT or go to the bank. Well I eventually did and that why I cant understand why they are still charging me when I paid on the 31 October. This is excactly why a lot of South Africans are so in debt because this providers make it difficult for us to do the right thing. I dont have the energy to speak to the call centre because I have had such bad experience with them. Buy at Rochester and good luck getting aftersales support.</p>
