Expensive products, poor quality. Definitely not worth the money spent

I had purchase a 3 piece recliner lounge suite 5 years back at R24000. One of the recliners stopped working 2 years back and now a second one stop working. This was not due to any cause from our side, the clip seems to be a ware and tear issue, I would have expected more from a product of Rochester, based on them being known as an exclusive store with very highly priced products. I had called the store and because the product was out of warranty, I was told to call a private company, that's not even acceptable. This product should surely not have been easy to be ruined by wear and tear and should surely have a good life span of quality.
