Excellent Service&Gratitude - Rochester Woodmead

I purchased a bedside table from Rochester Fourways only to find that the drawers were faulty. The Manager/his staff Wellington refused to replace or arrange pick up as we collected the item from his store. He expected us to drop off the product at their store for repairs. Having been there twice to collect our purchases, the 2nd time being a wasted trip as they did not have the stock, we refused to make another trip and asked if we could take the item to the Woodmead branch closer to my home. After much reluctance, this was agreed to.<br> <br> Upon arrival at Woodmead, Keith the Manager took it upon himself to contact the contractor used by Rochester to repair the draws. He did not think there was a need for the furniture to be sent to Rochester Fourways who was going to send it to their warehouse and would have been a delay of a week or more.<br> Although we did not purchase the beside table from his branch, Keith still went beyond the call of duty, ensured that the drawer was repaired and contacted me the next day to collect. This is what I call excellent service. Well done Keith and thank you. I will ensure that my future purchases will definitely be from your branch.
