Dont believe the price you see !!!

I went to purchase a dining room server today. I asked if there was a delivery fee and I was a given a hectic R495.00 charge. I then rep**** saying that was expensive and told it is handled by a 3rd party. I am buying from Rochester not the 3rd party! I said as a result of the rip-off charge I will arrange transport to fetch it from the store. I was then told there would be a R320.00 charge for me to pay to get it to the shop. If it is going to cost me to get the furniture to the shop then the price all their furniture is advertised at is false as you will have to pay more than the ticketed price - it is absurd. Needless to say both myself and my wallet departed without buying!!!!! Bottom line, the price displayed IS NOT the price you going to pay!!! JD group I need to explain that you can only serve a customer that enters Rochester, a customer can choose which shop (your competitors) that they would like to enter. In case JD group have not realised, this is a recession. Good luck to stay in business. Consumers, stay clear
