Delivery and communication failure

On Monday we paid for a lounge suite from Rochester Rustenburg , the store said couch takes 2-3 days for delivery, we should expect a call to arrange delivery- it took 2 days for the call from delivery. Delivery was promised for today... Friday. By 1pm we had not heard anything so called the store, apparently our couch was en route to Ellisras... we live in Rustenburg. We only received this feedback at 3pm. After numerous calls to the Rustenburg branch, they told us it was doubtful that the couch will be delivered today. I called customer service, who said they have to deliver today. If we had not called to follow up, would they have let us know? Doubt it... we have had 0 confirmation as to what is going to happen now 5pm on Friday afternoon. Our lounge has been cleared and is standing empty..... for how long? No idea...
