BAD service from staff and manager - william moffet

Very disappointed in Rochester's staff - william moffet. I phoned the store to check stock and confirm black Friday pricing - the saleslady confirmed 3 times that I can come purchase at a said price and that they have stock. Immediately left work and headed to the store. Get there, the sales lady tells me 5 mins prior to my arrival an email was received from head office that they cant sell the couches at the blackfriday price. Asked to view this said mail, and was refused, Asked to speak to the manager, who took 7 mins to see me, strolling in with coffee in her hand telling me that theres no stock - So managers story and the sales ladies did not match, it became clear to me that the sales lady I spoke to over the phone did not actually do a proper stock check. Best of all, today there is stock, but at R1000 a couch more. Seems like Rochester saw a chance to make more profit! After years of supporting them, I would rather spend my money at their competetors!
