Bad customer service at rochester

Took a layby with rochester for Ashanti couches, kept on paying and sending proof of payment. Called rochester to query about my settlement, only then did the consultant realized that my layby has lapsed then I was told in order for me to get the couches I have to pay R3000 more as the couches are not on special anymore. I have dealt with rochester before and the consultant that was helping me before would notify me when my layby is about to expire and extend if possible. But with my second layby, no one kept me abreast with my layby. Extremely disappointed with the service I got don't think I'll shop at rochester anymore.
