I booked a Saturday competition ( me and my son ) at the club ( Roberson Golf Club ) after I looked up there affiliation fees. Coming R 138 km from Somerset West. I ask what the format of the competition was but being the Monday they could not tell me. They had my cell phone number.

Arriving there the Saturday I was in formed by the pro-shop that there are no competition seeing that it is club champions. Then I was in formed that they do not accept my affiliation ( having both my and my sons cards.) I had to pay a ridiculous high price.

Coming so far and being totally disappointed, I paid and was on my why, to the first t-box when somebody ( I think he must be one of the workers there ) told us that there are a competition today and seeing that there are no partners for us ( only we a 2 ball ) we must play a single stableford and mark each other.

Needless to say we play not knowing what is going on - we did not enjoy the day and our whole game and day was ruined.

I emailed the club and ask them to pay back my money that they over charge me. ( I spoke to my club and to SAGA and they both say that is they advertise affiliation prices they must - do that.)

They refuse - As an after thought I think they must pay back all the money because our day was ruined
