I found Rob via a referral. First impression of him was a decent, friendly and clued up type of guy, I decided to work with him to build our new house in Hout-Bay. Unfortunately I paid an advance that was way too high and another deposit to secure materials. Very quick the stories came whereby delays after delays were piling up and excuses were always there to justify the delays, I paid him till window height and the foundations are not even finalized. I went to see a lawyer. she sent a letter to Rob in order to honor the works that he has been paid for. Rob went on his turn to arbitration whereby he made a story that he was claiming extra costs and lost days that he couldn't work which was so called my responsibility. I had to defend myself for 9 months but I eventually the award was granted to me. The sad part is that I lost so much money and all my savings are gone! I am not the only one unfortunately. I have met other people where he did exactly the same. He didn't pay his suppliers and didn't pay his workers! He is a *****, con-art, a *****!
