Robel Projects won a bid to renovate our house, but giving them the job was a terrible mistake!
First off, the builder was NEVER there and I had to take several days off work to supervise his team (who all seems really good at demolishion aand nothing else).
They did 2 bathrooms, and apart from the fact that the builder was never there (seriously, I had to put in a day's leave to show the tiler where to tile, even after I had a whole meeting with the builder to show him what we want) we had to break the new finishes open more than 3 times to get to new plumbing with ultra cheap fittings that they installed poorly.
My brand new bath is scratched on the inside because his useless plumber stood in the bath with dirty boots most of the time while he was his leaky connections.
We lost 2 perfectly good doors during the demolishion, because the guys working for him didn't think it would be a good idea to first remove the doors before starting to break down the wall.
They destroyed two lights while removing the old bedroom cupboards.
They built a R75,000 exterior facebrick wall, but non of the cement lines are straight, the rolling course on top looks like a drunk guy did it (probably was) and the facebricks are so dirty and messed full of (now rock hard) dry cement, that I'm thinking about either demolishing it and starting over, or plastering the thing.
Unless you have serious money or time to waste, go for it, use Robel Projects.
