Roadcover ******** people in buying their services.

I received a call from a person stating they were from a division of Absa, and would like to offer me roadcover services free of cost. I already thought this could be a **** as my Truecaller on my phone stated it was from FNB so I decided to listen to everything the person had to say. She very quickly explained that this will offer me, my spouse and any children Road Accident Fund cover at a cost of only R40 a month (even though they started out saying it was free). Before I could even get a word in she asked if this would be acceptable and will send through my welcome letter as soon as I confirm. I then asked her if she is sure she is from Absa, and she quickly tried to change the subject, I asked her if she could send me a mail with all the details so I could confirm it is indeed from Absa and she said, yes as soon as I confirm they will send me a welcome letter. I told her I am not going to confirm anything before I get proper correspondence and will reply upon the email if I am interested in the product. She said this won't be possible and I can only confirm telephonically. So I hung up. While we were talking she already sent me an email and as suspected it wasn't from Absa at all, it was from roadcover.co.za. I tried to reply on the mail but is bounced back. So this company goes around trying to **** people by lying to them, telling them they are from their banks. It is ridiculous that a company like this is allowed to still operate.
