What is the status of my claim

I had a car Accident in August 2016.I was off from work for more than a month.I had a backslab cast on and i had to attend physio.I am still struggling with my knee to date.Each time i call in all i am told is that my file is still open and every time i try calling the person working on my file the number just rings.Will someone let me know what is happening.
