ROAD ACCIDENT FUND: causing HEARTACHE rather than alleviating it.

I'm so hurt by the service I've received from the Road Accident Fund. My father passed away in 2014 in a taxi accident. I claimed loss of support from them and since then, they only contacted me this year asking me to sign an offer letter. I've signed the offer letter this year in May, and as per the offer, they were supposed to settle in 120 days, there has been no contact ever since.

I contacted them yesterday asking about the progress of them paying the amount, which was supposed to take place in 120 days from date of signing the letter, they gave me numbers to contact and told them my application had been cancelled. This truly hurt me and I'm disheartened, especially since i was hoping to use that money to pay my varsity fees this year. The road accident fund doesn't care about us and I've realized this is why most people prefer claiming through lawyers.

I was told to contact an employee by the name of Thelma Klass and since then, I have not been able to get ahold of her. Her number just rings. How do you a cancel a loss of support claim without contacting the beneficiary? I mean I've waited since 2014 for this payout. I'm really hurt. They keep advertising that we claim but when we do, they take us for a ride. Imagine waiting for two years for a claim to get cancelled when it's supposed to payout. I'm a student. I need that money. I'm disappointed in the ROAD ACCIDENT FUND. No compassion from them whatsoever!!!

If there are any lawyers than can help me, please help! I want to sue the RAF for the pain and suffering they've caused me!!
