Huge accident

In 2019 I was involved in an accident with my very expensive car that I had. There was a taxi that drove into me from behind with no brakes while I was standing stationery at a red light. The taxi wrote my car off and the driver got away. Many police vehicles and traffic cops also drove past and no one assisted me as I was alone that morning on my way to work. I contacted road accident fund with a case number to assist me and they abruptly shut me out on numerous occasions. Every year since then I get back pains countless times especially during winter it hits me hard. Despite the trauma I went through with losing a car that I invested my last in, I have lost my money as well as my respect for this country. One of those huge police trucks drove past me that morning saying I cannot park in the middle of the road, but he see my car is written off. How ridiculous is that?
