In 2006, when I was just 16, a motorbike accident changed my life forever. After a painful recovery, the Road Accident Fund (RAF) awarded me compensation—money meant to secure my future, not my family’s. My mother was appointed guardian of the funds, and for years, I trusted her to manage it responsibly.

Now, at 35, I’ve built a stable life—working in graphic design and studying software development. But instead of supporting me, my mother (who now lives in the UK) wants to give my money to my brother—someone who never contributed to my recovery or future.
