Nightmare Contractors who use your money for other jobs and have a millions excuses!

Be VERY careful if you decide to utilize the services of RN Construction. In April 2019, we paid Martin Stroebel a deposit of R10k to install a fireplace. Martin failed to arrive to commence the job on the agreed date and time. He messaged me the day before advising that he had used my deposit for another job and needed to complete that job and receive money from a client who was away in Botswana. (Not sure why that was my problem!) I found this to be unacceptable and I cancelled the job and requested that Martin Stroebel refund my money. It has been an on going battle to get my money back. Martin Stroebel finally paid my money back, in September 2019 and only because I had sent him a letter of demand and was in the process of issuing summons against RN Construction. Martin and his Wife Nikita Stroebel even had the audacity to threaten to sue me for defamation if I made the Media aware of their ***** business practices! DO NOT do business with RN Construction, Nikita Stroebel or Martin Stroebel. They will take your money and come up with a thousand excuses thereafter! They think they have done nothing wrong because they eventually paid back the money. It was a struggle to get back money that was never theirs to begin with! I have all messages, voice notes, a case number and lawyers letters if anyone would like to peruse same.
