I recently contacted RK Events with a proposal for the annual Plett Rage. The person I dealt with wasMarius. After a telephonic discussion I sent an email which again explained the proposal. He told me that they would be on leave and I would hear from him the next week. (I sent the first email with the proposal 13 January 2017) and therefore sent the example of our proposed product to the office of RK Events the following Tuesday. The parcel was received at 10:38 and I sent a follow-up email at 13:17. I included a courier bag in the package in order for my parcel to be returned should they not be interested in our product. When I phoned RK Events' office on Wednesday Marius was on leave. I phonen the office the next day and spoke to the owner, Ronen, who said he didn't know where my sample was and that they were not interested in my product and that I must contact Marius. I sent Marius a WhatsApp the next day (26 January) to arrange a day and time to send the courier. He rep**** 5.5 hours later and advised that I must send the courier the next Monday (30 January 2017). On Monday (30 January) at 11:54 I sent an email to establish what time the courier collected my parcel. Marius rep**** by saying that my sample were no longer in his office. Eventually the owner rep**** by saying my sample was most likely thrown away with the *******?!! This is not a matter I take lightly as Mr. Klugman was quite contemptuous and referred to my business practices. I paid for my sample to be returned and invested money and time to send them a professional product and I expected it back if they are not interested. Business practices like this should be exposed to any new and aspiring business people. They both respond the same unproffesional way by saying they don't have it. Personally I don't think it makes sense to leave something that clearly doesn't belong to you, vulnerable to be "thrown away".
