RiverSpray Lifestyle Estate

I have been living in an Estate on the riverbanks of the Vaal just off the R59 Highway in Vanderbijlpark for just over a year. The Estate hosts a peaceful environment and has a very tranquil atmosphere, it has been a very great experience residing there. My concerns is just the segregation and prejudice that is practiced boldly there by the management and body corporate. Race still plays a big factor in the decisions taken and the residents are not considered. The Estate host areas where other people are not allowed entry , areas like the club house and boat launching area, a gate has been erected and a rule has been implemented that only owners are granted entry to enjoy the club house facility and the area as a whole and all other residents are not allowed. I don’t know if it’s a norm in residential areas but my thinking is that in this day and age everyone that resides in an Estate should be given the same privileges to enjoy the facilities they pay for despite being an owner or tenant. It is said because the area they are restricting people entry is the pinnacle of entertainment in the Estate.
