Terrible Service!

What a lovely venue but the most appalling service!

I don't even know where to start. Just do yourself a favour and save yourself the heartache. The 1st wedding coordinator spoke down to me and was not accommodating when we decided to make use of outside vendors. If it is frowned upon, don't allow outside vendors but don't make it difficult if we do decide on using an outside vendor. The coordinated changed twice and we were not notified. We found out by accident that we had a new coordinator. We had to arranged a meeting with the new coordinator which she should have initiated.

I Told her everything we planned on doing only to have NOTHING that we spoke about done on the day!! No tea and coffee station for guests before and after. No bar open so guests can get a beverage while they wait. She was not there to open the doors of the chapel. Nothing. She didn't even come and check up on us once and we got ready on the property. I caught the 1st glimpse of her after the wedding for 5 mins. She realised the night before the wedding that she didn't have our order of events. Clearly didn't read it due to the fact that we didn't see her until after wedding.

The only time we heard from them was when they wanted payment. We were planning on spending a pretty penny on our wedding at Riverside Castle but the worse the service got, the less we wanted to spend money there! If we could have pulled out completely we would have but it was a non-refundable deposit. We are still waiting for a refund on the tea and coffee that we didn't receive..

Oh and lastly, they have a church service going at the same time on the property too. Which I get, these are tough times and one needs to make an income where one can but The PA system was so loud, we could barley hear our minister speak in the chapel and we were standing next to her! If you know that you have that happening on a Sunday morning, either ask the service to have a softer service on the days that morning weddings take place, Or do not allow a wedding to take place at that time!!! Simple.

We even got an email for formal feedback but surprise surprise, the link for the feedback does not work.

Like I said, beautiful venue but customer service fell very very short. We were very DISAPPOINTED.
