Rather take your car to a demolition race then here

My insurance, MiWay, appointed this place to do my hail damage. The car was dropped off 25th of Jan 2024 and I was told to allow 3 to 4 weeks. It has been more then two months now.

The most disheartening aspect is the aloof communication standard. They initial sent emails with a pseudo progress update however stating that they are awaiting apptovals from the insurance. When I called the insurance, it was revealed that approval had long been given.

The tone then changed to "awaiting additional parts", when the roof work was seemingly progressing swiftly. Upon enquiry, I then learned that this was not the case, the roof was instead received damaged and they'd to source a new one.

And now that I dared to reach out to my insurance to figure out what is going on, they don't send updates anymore. I am left to guess when they'll finish with the fixes

I wouldn't mind if it took them a thousand years to fix the car, the least they could've done is be upfront with their communication
