Broken promises and thievery
Took my car in for repairs to Riverside Auto Body for a small fender bender on a Monday. Was promised to be repaired by Friday. That did not materialize. Was promised will be ready the next Monday. Come Monday, no call to say they still busy. I had to call on Tuesday to follow up. Fog light trimming different colour! Found that my 64G memory card missing from my dash cam! All they could do was shove a disclaimer in my face that I am responsible to remove all belongings from the vehicle. The dash cam is fixed and is a mission to remove. Yes I could have removed the card but didn't think someone will ***** it! They showed no remorse. I will never use them again and you don't.

03 Feb 2020, 07:31We apologize for your concerns. It must be stated you were given an estimate for completion by your insurance which was extended by one day because your vehicle needed additional parts. If you do not understand the additional’s process may we offer for you to come in so that we can explain it to you

03 Feb 2020, 07:32The trim around your light is the correct colour as the part came from your vehicle manufacturer in its current state. This can be confirmed by KIA at a moment’s notice

03 Feb 2020, 07:32 Regarding your false accusation of theft, you were given a form to sign and review upon arrival, which asked for you to remove all personal/valuable items from the car. This is done so as to avoid any possibility of our company being held liable for any damage or loss.

07 Feb 2020, 11:35I will not retract my statement in the manner I was treated. I am the customer and I am the one on the receiving end. My experience bears testament that this supplier's customer service leave a lot to be desired. No matter what they say in their defense, it will not change what I experienced. Regarding the trimming, surely if the colour is off you replace both with approval from the insurers?! Was this even brought to their attention on the plan of action going forward? Regarding the theft. There is no “false accusation”! I sent my vehicle with my dash cam attached to the windscreen is a fact. When I eventually started my vehicle, the dash can switched on with an error that cannot be missed since it’s in full view of the driver. The error was to insert the memory card. I check and thought that I need to remove and reinsert the card only to find the card missing. The cam is useless without the card! This is the cam that recorded the accident that brought me to this supplier. When someone produces a form to inform me that I had signed to remove all my possessions, it speaks to me that there are volumes of trust issues. So in my mind I have to remove my possessions because someone might ***** it. I left my dash cam in the vehicle, why didn’t anyone call to inform that this was left behind?! Here is what I expected:-1. A call to inform me that the dash cam was left in the vehicle.2. At the very least to inform me that they will look into it or look at some video footage (assuming they have cameras in the workshop). No investigation was done. Just a form shoved in my face that prompted me to walk away in frustration3. Reassure me that they will investigate and let me know. They were too quick to show me the form! I don’t believe that I trust this suppler to work on my vehicle if the need arises. I saw a few complaints on this platform about them and if I had hindsight of this, I would not have agreed to use them.
