Ripping people off

My boyfriend took our clothes which weighed 8.6kg to this launderette and was charged R400. He came home and was complaining that it was too expensive but it was obviously too late to go back and take the clothes. We both decided that we'd call the owner to find out what the price was, the owner confirmed that its R120 for every 5kg. On my return i asked the lady at the till to give me something which is written down that shows their rates. She did not have anything written down, i called the owner but the phone was off.
