I purchased a car Audi A4 2004 model from Luxury tech cc t/a right cars. Malibongwe Dr & Witkoppen Rd, North Riding, Randburg, 2169

On Friday 01 December 2017, the money I had transferred had cleared and was told to collect the car. Upon reaching the dealership, I overheard 2 gentlemen complaining, one with mechanical faults and another with paperwork.

I told the salesperson that I am not comfortable to take the car if there's problems with other customers. The sales person (Valdo) then told me that even if I don't wanna take the car it has already been taken off the floor and that I will take it as is (voetstoot). I felt rather forced into this deal and since I needed a car desperately I took it and signed all paper work.

I drove the car to my work place and realised after parking it that it is over heating. I called Valdo to complain and he said the workshop is closed and will attend the matter on monday 04 December 2017. Then promised to speak to his boss and call me after half an hour. Then his phone was off thereafter. I was advised that since the water bottle burst then the car is bound to heat up. I bought another water bottle and drove home to hammanskraal.

On Monday 4th December I took the car when going to work. On the road it signalled me that the coolant is faulty. I would stop until it cooled off and put more water on the cooling bottle then drive. An hour and a half when I got to work, the car caught fire and guards extinguished it and called me. I then went to the dealership and spoke to a manager (Mark). He said that the sales person wouldn't know any faults on the car and that he (Mark) will call me back after speaking to the owner. Earlier Today i went to the dealership to lodge a complaint and the manager he will call me. Seeing that they haven't called, I went back to them and was told that I'm not even allowed to speak to the owner and that even if I lodge a complaint to the ombudsmen nothing will happen. I was then advised to bring it back for assessment and quotes and I'm liable for all repairs.

These vultures should pay for de*****ing people of their hard earned money.
