Very untruthful and very poor service

Att. Owner and General Manager “Rightcars” Mr. Jack Johannesburg, , Durban, Cape Town

Dear Mr. Jack,

I am writing you concerning the purchase at Johannesburg Branch (Malibongwe Dr & Witkoppen Rd, North Riding, Randburg), of a Renault Logan Model 2009, with regards the following issues that are not solved until today. On the 09 August 2017, I paid a deposit requested by salesman Mr. Valdo Rodriques, and I test drove the car for evaluation and I mention to the sales man Mr, Aldo and to the branch Manager Mr. Mark that the CV joints are damaged completely and these CV joints must be fixed/replaced. After I informed Mr. Mark the branch Manager, he called the service Manager Mr. Ken, in my presence, and asked for a quotation for repairing the CV Joints use and the quote to fix the CV joints was R1300; I agreed with the price and Mr. Mark the manager gave to Service Manager “Go ahead “ with order parts & repairing the CV joints. We agreed also on the battery of the car to be replaced, because was not functioning-completely flat, and also the radio, if is in not working condition, also Mr. Mark promised me to replace it. To be sure that everybody agreed and nothing what was discussed is not forgoten, I mention on the Lay-By agreement - the agreement that Mr. Mark will replace the CV Joints for R1300, the salesman will replace the battery, and also the radio will be change (if will be the case) by Mr. Mark. All this statements are mention on the Lay-By Agreement, and signed by Mr. Mark the Manager , by myself, and by a witness. After three days I was called by Mr. Ken that mention that the CV joints are ok, are the shock absorber and I was asked to pay R1850.00 to replace them, and to come Monday 14 August 2017 to pick up the car, clean and valet washed. On my way to the dealer on come Monday 14 August 2017, Mr. Ken called me again and this time said that are not the shock absorber the issue are the CV joints that must be repaired (exactly that we mention first time in Lay- by form,) and the money R1850 that I paid deposit for shock absorber will be enough for CV joints repairs. The quotation mention by Mr. Ken and told to Mr. Mark R1300, is still written and signed by Mr. Mark the manager, myself and a witness. I was asked to come on 15 August 2017, that the car will be ready for collection, but another surprise, the quote mention first time in Lay- by form for CV Joints , was changed by Mr. Ken from R1300,00 to R4000 ; This is unacceptable, I think is a scheme ripping people off, I called cape Town office, Durban office that try to help me, and I’m looking forward to talk with the owner of this terrible place. I would NEVER EVER, EVER advise anyone to do business with Right Cars. This is pathetic, untruthful, so be very careful. Please, everybody that is in similar situation, let’s commonly employ an attorney, to open a case, and with affidavit written on front of commissioner of oaths of law, to open a case in the court. Anyhow I will start open a case, and taking to next level. Everybody is welcome to join me- ********** 831. Mr Mark, the branch Manager , I call him every day several times, all the time is busy, and he didn't have time for my calls with all messages left. The sales man Mr. Valdo R.- same attitude....only worst. Dan Vasile
