Right Cars sells "s****"

Please be warned NOT TO buy cars from Right Cars. In November 2016 I bought an Opel Astra 2L 16V from them. Very neat and when revving the engine, everything 'looked' in immaculate condition. After using too much oil the 1st few week I took the car to a reputable mechanic which diagnosed that the engine required an overhaul. When contacting the dealership they informed me that there was nothing they could do! There excuse were that because I bought the car cash (R47 000), they were not liable to fix the car. They only repair cars they sold which was bought by Banks (?) The manager was rude and threw the Consumer Act at me. People, they have their own version of the Consumer Act which is totally different from the real one! Oh, please note that I've waited about 3weeks for the paperwork from JHB and the car wasn't even in the dealership's name. I also had to register the car myself. And according to them they sell s****. Well, s**** that is displayed on a showroom floor? S**** that you can test drive? S**** on the showroom floor that are well in access of R100 000? I've been to a mediator which they ignored, I've been to MIOSA which they ignored, now I'm with the National Consumer Committee which is totally useless, which means I'm not only loosing R47 000, but I've had fixed a few things like spray painting, breaks done, etc. which adds up to an additional R5500!!! This car was my lifeline to getting my life back after a messy divorce. Nowadays, nearly a year after I'm frustrated, stressed and depressed... BE WARNED OF RIGHT CARS, PAARDEN EILAND, CAPE TOWN!
