MISLEADING AND DISHONEST STAFF// A ******* COMPANY TO DEAL WITH
You will have everyone`s attention, when you walk in, when you are making a payment, you will not have issues, you are only allowed to drive the vehicle a certain radius, you are not allowed to get your mechanic to do checks, if there are faults that are noted, they will have it cleared at their workshop without fixing the fault. You are expected to fill a check list on things that aren't visible or only know off, if the vehicle is driven at night or in the rain etc. Reported issues with them less than 48 hours of taking delivery, by that time had done about 200kms, then get told they respond to complaints within 48 hours, and that wasn't the case, the salesman/Dumisani assured us he was our point of contact even after the sale, which was a load of BS. On day 3, when I decided to go to the dealership as we haven't heard from them, the lady, Janene, had me wait 40 minutes, while she attends to her so-called work, as we didn't have an appointment, yet she responded to my email then, with me waiting at reception and then casually walks about at the back office, that we are not permitted to enter.
In 6 days, we did 408kms, that including the collection and drop off back to the dealership, and there's issues that certainly could not have come up while in our possession, they run all the vehicles on next to no fuel, and for a diesel vehicle, this certainly isn't wise. The faults that we eventually advised them off were all things that one could not pick up on the very convenient road they allow you to drive.
She states that we have signed for the vehicle yet the issues we mentioned, was not picked up due to the limited area we could drive, we asked about an issue on the door during the sale, 5 times, they eventually called a manager, Leon, who said it just needs a polish, only to later find that this door/main door, central locking does not work. The DEKRA report now has us thinking, if any of it was true and correct.
Janene mentions that they have their contracts drawn up by a company that assists dealers - to which we both agreed that it still has to be in line with CPA. This company is a South African based company - so whether they like it or not, need to abide by the rules and regulations as this protects both the buyer and seller.
By day 5, Janene who was supposed to have sent a report with their findings, didn't get back to me on any occasion, it was always a follow up from my side, to date, approaching 2 weeks now since the purchase, of a vehicle we do not have currently, and a report that we did not get feedback on, was then asked to refer our complaint to IDA and MIOSA. At the time of the sale, Dumisani mentioned that they do not cover for repairs after collection, and did not mention anything about the 6-month CPA clause, he stated they have a 7-day cooling period, so now they will have to honor that info we were given. He also mentioned that the vehicle was in great condition and will make it, in one shot on a long-distance trip *absolute BS* and that they do not purchase accident damaged vehicles... again... a load of BS
Every person that we dealt with has no clue or idea about customer service, the dealership itself, is operating on terms that are not within the law, I will not be surprised if they are not abiding by the rules and regulations set out by SARS.
They delay in getting back to you and are always busy, after the sale, yet, before the sale, everyone will drop whatever, to run behind you. I will not lay this to rest, they need to refund us in full, and they must be audited and exposed for what they are doing, exploiting buyers.
