Beyond poor custoner service

<p>On the 26th of April 2017 I visited a second car dealership in Northriding called Right-cars<br />With an intention of purchasing a vehicle which subsequently I did I took the car out on my way home however the car broke down immediately I never reached home for 3days, initially we thought my friend and I it was the battery but wouldnt help me tow the car back to the dealer as it was a P/H but they were working on that day anyways after speaking to them they told me I must try and get the car to them that's only when they will be able to help me I drove the car there but on Malibogwe drive on my way there the car broke down again this was not the 3rd time breaking down, I got it running again I managed to get there they never even offered me a cup of coffee I had to ask so I left the car on that Saturday after leaving it with them they kept promising me they call me but never did instead I had to keep calling them to follow up finally they tried to bring the car to me after a week I think but even they couldn't because it broke down as one of their drivers drove it, they called me and told me this apparently they also figured out what the problem was a regulator or alternator something like that it went back to their workshop didn't give me any feedback eventually after a day or 2 they called to say the part for the car will cost about R5000 then it was R3500 the workshop wouldn't mind paying for half of the price for the part but I would have to pay the other half now this is after I had already paid R40 500 for the car including the car registration I told them this money was my savings as I had just lost my job currently unemployed and have a family to support my fiancee with 2kids, I provisionally agreed to the deal because I thought we could make some sort of arrangement but now they refusing ,today I don't have a car and my R40500 is with them they won't give me my car, oh before I forget after i encountered this problem they told me the person they got the car from didn't tell them that the car had the regulator problem so they couldn't tell me I told them that was not my problem which they are now making to be. So as things stand I texted the manager for the dealership where I initially bought the car asking if could get my money and go else where to but a car he just brushed off by saying he understands but I must speak to the workshop manager whom I had already seen and he wouldn't help instead he insisted of me paying the other half or else he can't release my car the car if apparently fixed regulator reconditioned or replaced but they won't give it back to me without the payment I am at my wits end with these people I've dealt with them more than I should have.</p>
