RightQuip - Wrong

Had a roller door installed on our property in October 2016. Paid in full, a few days later they came and installed it. The next day we noticed that you can lift the gate ± 30cm off the ground. Phoned the company to explain the problem and was told that that is normal, after a bit of an argument and they came to have a look. The installers were unable to find a solution, I made a suggestion, the installer agree that it could work and they fixed the problem. On month later our rainy season started, the gate started hooking and banging while closing – sent an email to the supplier with no response. After a while the gate seemed to sort itself out. End of January 2017 the gate started with the same problem again, but this time closed automatically as well – damaging two cars – phoned the supplier. Were told they would send the installers to come investigate – this never happened. Again, the gate sorted itself out. One month after the gate does the same, but this time the gate flips over and completely off its rails. Now the roller door has become a swing door. Contacted the supplier again – this time I was nice and worked up. Fought with the person and was promised to get a call back within an hour – never happened. Contacted them again and was told this person is sick and went home – no one there is aware of any problem.

Nobody ever returns your call, the MD never answers his cell – after sales service is non-existent. I would not recommend this company to anybody – please stay away from this company – for your own good
