Rietvlei friendliness

Good day,

I spoke to one of your ladies in the office after we were “escorted” to your office after walking our 11 week puppy from the car wash, up to tin cup. We walked to the walking trail area and tried to go to the grass with the dog we where told to pay to go to the trails and we decided against it as it is hot and the puppy is young. We where waiting for our car at the car wash. We went for a bottle of water at tincup and where told that “ WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CARWASH SEATING AREA!”

After talking to the “very helpful, sarcastic” lady in the office i was told that no one is allowed to drive or walk in the parking area.... okay.

I am very disgusted by the way it was handled. The security kept saying we need to leave because we are “ REFUSING” to pay. Which is not at all the truth. We wanted a small patch of grass for the puppy to run.

Rietvlei Zoo farm used to be amazingly pet and family friendly but has changed into a money making property
