No refund for overpayments

<p>I paid R1250 for 5 days of stalls at Rietvlei. The booking form stated the amount to be paid per day which I did. The organizer then decided to reduce the rates as the other marketers were complaining. I enquired about the refund and was told to visit the office for the refund. I went to the office only to be told the organizer has left on holiday with the owner. I sent a WhatsApp and email and then Michelle tells me no refunds but on the form it states only that no refunds will be made for non arrivals not overpayments. She then says that I can have free markets to the same value. No items were sold at the market as they do not do any advertising so why would I even consider doing another market there where I am running a loss. I have reported this to Alberton Police station and was informed to follow the consumer complaints process which I will do. </p>
