La Poste Apartment - Clarens

Ridgeroad Accommodation - Addy Hoyle Artists/Studio - owns/manage La Poste Apartment - a so called Self Catering Honeymoon Apartment behind their studio in Clarens. We viewed their website with obvious beautiful (misleading pictures) and planned and looked forward to a four day stay. Arrival/Greeting - introduction to the facility = Non-Existing. No Covid -19 protocols AT ALL! - other than an unmarked mini spray bottle at the door! Unsure how they get away with this in a busy tourist town amidst a third Covid - 19 wave and fair strict Government regulations around the hospitality industry?! Received a dirty apartment - dirty carpets - dirty bath - holes burned in the carpets in the lounge area. Four days without basics like bathroom towels! (had four face towels though!) - a hairdryer - soap! - a knife in the self catering kitchenet - at R 1400.00 per night. During the four days - no housekeeping - no inquiry regarding our stay / comfort - no service - no interest....but... Two days after arrival home two phone calls accusing us of *****ing 4 of their bathroom towels!! Their arrogance - disrespect is just unacceptable/unbelievable. A sure NO! and never again for both the owner/staff as well as the facility!!
