Expired meds

I bought Vidalyn Plus Iron Drops 30 ml on July 2 at the pharmacy .Upon giving the baby the drops on July 18 , I realized that drops are expired .The meds actually expired on June 2015 . I paid the pharmacy a visit and provided them with their receipt and the expired drops but the pharmacist told me that she had no proof that they had sold me the product . She had no apology whatsoever for the medical implications of me giving the baby the expired drops. I explained to her that when I bought the meds they were already in fact expired. I am hurt that I gave my baby expired drops and the people responsible have no remorse .
