Sp100U printer - 2 months old - faulty - sent to J

Ricoh SP 100U se 3 in One printer - faulty feeder after less than 2 months of purchase. Purchased through Durban supplier & they have sent unit to JHB which could take weeks for a result. My client will be demanding a new printer I know & it will be on my head, I run an IT support Company in Durban north / Umhlanga area. We cannot wait for Printers to be couriered to JHB & to take weeks for any sort of response.. If a printer is under 2 months old from date of purchase it must be replaced..Bottom Line..

Regards

Craig Felt - FIT Computers cc - Owner / IT Engineer

Hello craigfelt,

Thank you for the above concern that you have raised with us, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you have experienced

Further to the conversation you had earlier with our Channel Manager Jolene Castelyn, it was determined that the unfortunate hold up you experienced was due to an internal process on the reseller side but rest-assured, Ricoh and Rectron will liaise with the reseller in order to streamline that return process and decrease turn-around times for the future.

You will also be glad to know that as of April 2015, Rectron was appointed as an official service centre for the Ricoh ITD products with a service turn-around of 48 hours.

Having said that I would also suggest that for future reference you contact Rectron in Durban directly for assistance, in order to have a faster turn-around time.

We once again apologise for any inconvenience caused and do trust that the issue is resolved to your satisfaction.

Kind regards,
Dierdre Fernandes
