Rude service at Paulina's Restuarant

I organized with Paulina's restaurant to have a bachelorette get-together with about 15 people. All the arrangements went smoothly - I arranged that we bring our own savouries and sweet canapes, and we will order coffee/tea/wine from them while we are there. I even confirmed on the morning of the bachelorette, and the lady said they are expecting me at about 3pm, and the table will be ready.<br> <br> However, upon arrival to set things up, the management who took over said they did not know of this booking, we are not allowed to bring our own canapes, and supposed to have paid a venue hire fee, even though this was not mentioned in the e-mail correspondence. They were rude, even when trying to explain that it was all organized, and told us they close at 4pm (even though they close at 5pm as it's stated on their website and front door). They ended up letting us set-up our table, but the atmosphere was totally ruined!<br> <br> I sent them the correspondence e-mails about the arrangements for the last month - no response. Paulina's Restaurant never sent an official apology for this embarassing moment, and therefore, I recommend if you want great, accommodating and friendly service, you go elsewhere.
