In December I approached Richfield enquiring if I can articulate my BSc in Information Technology with them.
I spoke to a certain lady named Cartrine that requested that I email my results and that they will get back to me with the feedback.
A few days later, she forwarded an email which stated that I could articulate and which modules I will be credited for . She said that I should pay R500.00 for the application of credits and R500.00 for Registration
I enquired if I will be doing second year modules and the response was Yes.
I made the payment of both the R500.00 in Decemeber and my employer paid the full amount (R26 000 )
During this whole time the College never communicated anything. Starting in February I started sending email enquiring when the course is starting because i could not login and the administator who was suppose to call me hasnt call as yet.
First week of March I received an sms for workshops for the course and i called Richfield,I finally get to speak to the course administrator, then to my suprise they uploaded 1st year modules and not 2nd year modules according to what they said that they will give me credits for.
I sent an email again stating that there was an error because I'm not suppose to be doing first year modules , The course Administrator tells me that she forwarded my results to the Dean and that am only credited for two modules meaning i have to redo all the modules including first year module.
I requested to de-register because that's not the agreement that we had and requested that I get a refund. The response was that I had 7 days to de-register.
Now the College communicated with me in December and January that I was credited and i even have a registration letter for 2nd year but today their whole story changed and they refuse to refund close to R28000 that was paid.
