Unreasonable Scheduling of CA Tests and overall Academic Timetable

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the scheduling of the Year 2 CA Tests this semester. The current timetable is extremely unreasonable and needs urgent reconsideration.

I am aware that Year 1 students previously raised similar concerns via email, yet no response was given. Ignoring such student concerns is highly ********* and discouraging. In our case, the scheduling of tests on consecutive days, with little to no breathing space, does not allow adequate preparation. Additionally, having these tests so close to the submission deadlines of three major assignments places students under enormous strain.

As distance learners, many of us are also working professionals. The overlap between assignments and tests makes it nearly impossible to manage workloads effectively. This situation gives the impression that students are being set up for failure rather than being supported to succeed.

We pay for this education, and it is only fair that we are given a reasonable opportunity to perform at our best. I am voicing this concern not just personally, but on behalf of the entire 2nd year BSc IT class.
