Unfair treatment

Hi. My name is Joseph shiko. In January 2018 I registered with richiefield on part time studies and I was working in lebowakgomo. Same year in may I got a transfer to another place and I went to campus to inform the manager and his response was ohk. Now I received a call from debt collectors saying that I owe institution R16500. I did not sign any contract binding myself to pay all the fees and it wasn't up to me to drop out. The past 2 years the school did not contact me and now I have to pay R16500.00. This is so unfair and wrong. They should let students know from start that regardless of anything they will have to settle the course fees even if they dont finish.

This is very unprofessional and I'm not happy as the lady told me my name is registered as a default payer
