Unacceptable Delay and Dishonest Communication Regarding Fee Refund- Richfield Graduate Institute Of Technology

I am writing this review with extreme disappointment regarding my recent experience with Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology's administration and refund process.

I successfully completed my Diploma in Business Administration, but a significant issue has overshadowed this achievement. On 15 May 2025, my father made an overpayment on my fees due to a miscalculation. On the **very same day (15 May 2025), I immediately initiated a request for a refund of R6800.

I promptly submitted everything that was requested from me: * A completed refund form. * Proof of the overpayment. * All other required supporting documents.

The Richfield refund policy clearly states that refunds are processed within 30 days. As of today, my request has been outstanding for far longer than this stipulated period. There has been a complete lack of honest communication and transparency regarding the status of my refund.

To escalate the matter, I have: * Sent endless emails to my administrator. * Copied the Campus Manager in all subsequent communications to demand attention. * Even visited the Newtown Campus in person to state my case.

Despite these efforts, my issue remains unresolved. The communication from my administrator has been dismissive, and the matter has not been treated with the urgency or priority it deserves. Promises are made, and deadlines are continuously extended with no result.

I have been patient and cooperative throughout this entire process, but my goodwill has been met with empty promises and dishonesty. The recent offer of "discounts" for a future degree from student advisors feels like a tactic to avoid issuing the refund I am legally entitled to. I do not want a discount; I want the R6800 that is owed to me.

This experience has been so disheartening that it has made me reconsider furthering my studies (such as a degree) with Richfield. How can I trust an institution with my future education when they cannot be trusted to handle a simple refund correctly and honestly?

I am posting this publicly as a last resort to have my matter resolved. I hope this review will prompt Richfield's management to finally take action and process my refund immediately.
