The staff is friendly to a certain extent which I found somewhat helpful when I needed help
The staff is friendly to a certain extent which I found somewhat helpful when I needed help. Especially the student advisors. However, there is a delay in communication which I assume is due to the student advisor having too much on their plate. There is no canteen or cafeteria on the campus but there is a nice outdoor setting with benches where students can sit down and have lunch while enjoying the rooftop view. During the math's and English boot camps we were placed in lab rooms which were a bit cramped.

The Umhlanga Campus does not have a cafeteria as it is in the midst of a shopping centre that has a huge national supermarket which offers meals and takeaways at affordable prices.
