The improvement of Richfield Umhlanga

I began my studies at Richfield in 2022. I studied my higher certificate in IT. I somewhat enjoyed it my academic experience but I wasn't impressed by Richfield at the least. Given COVID was just dying over and Richfield was under different management. In early January, Richfield was gracious enough to provide me with employment as a brand ambassador. For that, I was extremely grateful for I had acquired skills and experience during this period. Over my stay, I managed to get an inside view of how Richfield operates. My honest opinion is that at the start of the year, they could've honestly done better. But Sharen Singh has managed to change my mind through the months. His compassion for his students and initiative to make the campus more interactive for the students has truly been remarkable to witness. He not only opened up the doorway for extracurricular activities but also saw and continues to sees to it that his students have everything that need and goes an extra mile to push them into completing the semester so that no one fails and every student gets their money's worth of education. I am a witness to this as I achieved outstanding results both last year and this year, in semester one. This is also thanks to the dilgent and hardwarking lecturers at Richfield. Not only do they teach the work but they ensure every learner understands the syllabus and if not they go out of their way to tutor students in their free time just so that everyone passes and that too, with amazing results. Over these past few months, Richfield has gone from being a campus to my second home. I not only joined the events committee but I am also the co-head of the chess club. I am thankful and I owe this all to Richfield and Mr Singh for all that they're done for me. Richfield is truly a remarkable institution and I commend them for improving and evolving so drastically over the time that I've spent here.
